Mitolo G.A.M. Shiraz 2005

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaG.A.M. represents the first initial of each of the Mitolo children's first names - Gemma, Alex and Marco. The site is known as the Chinese Block located in the Willunga district at the southern end of McLaren Vale. The nose is typically open and lifted jammy plums, liquorice and bacon notes. The palate is firm but glassy with more rich fruit with violets, vanilla chocolate and smoky minty notes. It should appeal to a wide variety of palates.Tasted: 25 October 2008Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
