Ganton & Larson Prospect Winery Larch Tree Hill Riesling 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis was bit of a shocker for me if only because it's rare to encounter so much fruit, minerality and freshness in a B.C. riesling that is balanced to boot. This is another benchmark wine that proves we can grow this variety and make it well. A blend of three sites from south, central and north Okanagan its peachy, lime fruit and fresh aromatic style makes this a winner. The price is a bonus.
