Bouchard Père & Fils Clos Vougeot Grand Cru 2006

Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceSpicy, vanilla, clove, cherry jam, tobacco, chocolate, licorice, floral, strawberry aromas, very nice complexity. Dry, elegant, tight and slightly tannic and fresh on the palate. Raspberry, menthol, spicy, peppery, tobacco leaf, vanilla, orange, gamey barnyard flavours. Nice finesse and acidity with delicacy but a bit leafy. A classy wine that will be early maturing, perhaps 2-7 years.Tasted: 15 October 2008Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
