Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyOpen full nose of tobacco, pepper, spice and black cherry notes with savoury, rooty, cranberry, coffee, black cherry, vanilla and resin aromas. Rich, round, dry, supple tannins but very grainy and youthful. Coffee, mocha, vanilla, cassis, black cherry, cigar, peppery, cedar, black olive flavours. Long, intense palate with fresh acidity on the finish. Needs 3-6 years to soften.
