Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalSpicy, black cherry jam, black tea, smoky, floral, chocolate, tobacco and tapenade aromas. Ripe, round, rich palate with dry but supple tannins to dissipate. Smoky, tobacco, peppery, coffee, meaty, black cherry, black berry, licorice and vanilla flavours. Good intensity and concentration but warm and a tad rustic.
