Sandhill Small Lots Program Cabernet Sauvignon - Syrah Sandhill Estate Vineyard 2005
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRich and full red wine that comes drenched in sage, menthol, tarry, licorice root aromas with bits of scorched earth, roasted bell pepper and smoky, coffee, meaty aromas. The palate is warm but tart with some tight green tannin. Sweet and sour with tarry, smoky, tobacco leaf, spicy, resin, coffee, mocha flavours. Very hot, oaky and tart on the finish.
