Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaBig sweet spicy, floral chocolate nose with bits of pepper, meaty notes and liquorice. Much like the previous vintage the combination of merlot and malbec from Calchaqui Valley. It's dry on entry and in the finish but any sort of grill meat or poultry should help mitigate the youthful tannins and reveal its core of black fruit, tar, liquorice and vanilla flavours. Stylish and well made for the price.Tasted: 06 July 2008Tasted by: Prices:
Calchaqui Valley, Salta, North, ArgentinaSpicy, chocolate, peppery, floral, cherry, slightly meaty nose with a touch of licorice root. Dry, round, slightly tannic palate but full bodied. Cedar, tobacco, cherry, cassis, leather, licorice, vanilla flavours. Good intensity if a bit rustic and tannic on the finish.Tasted: 12 April 2007Tasted by: Prices:
