Rich, ripe, round, dry and very warm with light tannins and fresh acidity. Prune, coffee, vanilla, peppery, rooty, mineral, resin, tobacco, coffee, cherry menthol flavours. Finish is hot and somewhat tart but flavourful if a bit bitter. Best with roast lamb or turkey.
