Salamandra 2006
Castilla-Leon, SpainSpain, number one in vineyards but only number three in production. Love the freshness in this dry red with its smoky, meaty, red cherry fruit undertones. This is a wine drinkers red, with dry earthy plummy fruit pick on both sides of the Duero in la Rioja and Ribera del Duero. Grilled beef, lamb kebabs or chicken should subdue the youthful tannins at the dinner table.Tasted: 14 May 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $17.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
