Bleasdale Shiraz / Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Langhorne Creek, South Australia, AustraliaThis 79/21 mix of shiraz/cabernet comes with a tobacco leaf, peppery, rooty nose flecked with smoky, coffee, cassis, liquorice and resiny, earthy notes. Round, dry, tart entry with coffee, resin, blueberry, black cherry, menthol, tobacco leaf, meaty flavours. Solid but like many the mid-plate and finish is acidic which in turn accentuates the dry finish.Tasted: 19 April 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
