Toro, Castilla-Leon, SpainAged 50/50 in barrique and foudre. Spicy, peppery, vanilla, licorice root, tobacco, meaty, gamey, smoky, floral nose with garrigue, cardamom, coriander and black cherry throughout. Rich, fat, ripe and round with supple tannins and good acidity balance. Full with cherry, plum, orange, smoky, licorice, tobacco, floral and vanilla flavours. Very warm but well balanced with a long finish. Will improve over the next one to three years.
