Little Yering Cabernet Shiraz 2004
Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia"Little" Yering is a third level of wines from the renowned Yering Station that blends the classic Oz duo of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz. The nose has a pronounced fruity aspect with blueberry and dark fruits mixing with pepper and leafy qualities. It's reasonably dry with a warm slightly acidic mid-palate and more peppery red fruit flavours in the finish. Less oak and more French oak when it's used is the mantra at Yering Station and that serves these wines well.Tasted: 29 March 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.50 | 750ml | speculative listing - Renaissance Wines |
