Casa de la Ermita Jumilla (Purple Capsule) 2005

Jumilla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainThe Jumilla wine-growing region is a large area in south-eastern Spain and home to Casa de la Ermita Jumilla. The blend is a hefty mix of mourvèdre, merlot, tempranillo, syrah and cabernet sauvignon that offers a meaty, smoky, leather strap, peppery, earthy, spicy nose. It's round and elegant on the palate with light tannins. Smoky, menthol, light Band-Aid (Brett), leather, meaty, cooked carrot, plum and prune flavours. Easy sipping, rustic Spanish red.Tasted: 27 March 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
