Espelt Lledoner Rosat 2007
Empordà, Ampurdain-Costa Brava, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThere's something about Spain and rosé as exemplified by this tasty treat. Lledoner is the local Empordà expression for garnacha. The colour is light pink, the technique used to create a fresh colourful rosé is saignée or bleeding the juice off the skins. The result is a fresh, fun, sipping pink with a bit of weight and sweetness. Look for bits of spice and sweet red fruits all with a twang of natural acidity. Think tapas.Tasted: 25 February 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Charton Hobbs |
