Waipara Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2006
Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandMore aggressive herbal style with grassy, passion fruit, canned jalapeno, nettle, sweaty grapefruit rind aromas. Rich, elegant, full palate with crisp acidity and a touch of oiliness. Slightly off dry with smoky, grassy, grapefruit juice, nettle, passion fruit, lime and gooseberry flavours. Good intensity and balance with more fruit showing on the palate than the nose. Good value. Serve with mussels.Tasted: 24 January 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $21.99 | 750ml | |
