Twisted Tree Merlot 2005
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOpen smoky vanilla American oak barrel nose with coffee, menthol undertones. On the palate the fruit black fruit cassis flavours are subdued by the vanilla, coffee, chocolate (the JT formula) with bits of cedar bark and cranberry. Fairly rich and tracking in the right direction but needs a bit more fruit and acidity to sing.
