Piedmont, ItalyWaxy, cigar, Band-Aid, leather, tar, black cherry, strawberry jam, licorice root aromas. Rich, full, round, fat and ripe with copious ripe grainy tannins, very chewy. Vanilla, coffee, leather, cigar, plum jam, strawberry, tarry, licorice flavours. Very warm and ripe with a long finish. Needs 5-7 years to tame the tannins but has good potential.
