Piedmont, ItalyDark black cherry colour. Big spicy, cassis, black plum, savoury, peppery, licorice, mint, orange peel and mineral flavours with a touch of vanilla and coffee. Ripe, rich, round, dry and full but elegant with grainy tannins. Coffee, black cherry jam, plum, peppery, licorice, orange, resin and tobacco with a spicy finish. Good finesse and intensity with the ability to improve over the next 3-5 years.
