Piedmont, ItalyBig smoky, tarry, black olive, Band-Aid, saddle leather, tobacco, waxy, mineral, licorice root, strawberry jam aromas. Ripe, round, rich, slightly fat entry with ripe grainy tannins. Good acidity balance again with coffee, vanilla, tobacco, licorice, rooty, cherry jam, resin, leather, meaty flavours. A bit too warm on the finish but good intensity. Slightly more forward than the other two editions.
