Piedmont, ItalyTarry, peppery, smoky, tobacco, floral, coffee, dark strawberry jam and sweaty saddle leather aromas. Rich, ripe, round and warm with dry, grainy tannins but very good acidity. Intense mocha, orange peel, strawberry jam, cherry kirsch, tobacco, olive and licorice root with a coffee, earthy, tar and cherry finish. Almost sweet with ripe fruit and oak but very good balance and a long aftertaste.
