Inniskillin Okanagan Discovery Series Zinfandel 2005
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlack berry jam, smoky, briar, resin, cooked prune, coffee, barnyard, saddle leather nose. Dry, full bodied, very warm palate with some light, dry tannin. Peppery, resiny, meaty, cooked black cherry, port-y, rooty, licorice flavours with coffee and vanilla. Somewhat over ripe but that only fits in with the California style.
