Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaThis wine is consistently well made with its smoky, saddle leather, vanilla nose and barnyard notes. The entry is soft, round and ripe with a black cherry and a smoky, resiny/tobacco, mocha finish. Good, if a bit dirty by modern standards. Try with ribs.
