Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaProtégé is an 83/17 of cabernet sauvignon/merlot from the Margaret River region age din two year old French oak. The nose has a savoury coffee mint thread that permeates its black fruit and liquorice flavours. It's reasonably soft and ready to drink but will age for 3 to 5 years in bottle with no trouble.
