Sicily, ItalyMandraRossa is out of Sicily and the historic town of Menfi. This 100 per cent chardonnay sees no oak but is somehow tastes mouth-filling and full-bodied. Fairly intense citrus fruit with candied apricot and flecks of orange. The finish is warm. Best with buttery scallops or prawns.
