Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceNice freshly ground black pepper, spicy, meaty, dark plum, licorice root, chocolate, tobacco aromas. Round, dry, slightly tannic but elegant palate. Black cherry, smoky, black peppery, licorice root, smoky flavours with some chocolate tobacco on the finish. A bit rustic and tannic, should improve over the next year or so. Good concentration and value.
