Montgras Ninquen Mountain Vineyard 2004

Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileDeep black cherry colour. Spicy, coffee, cassis, minty, sappy, smoky vanilla, barnyard, leather, cigar, orange peel aromas. Full, rich, soft with fine grained tannins and good acidity balance. Chewy with minty, spicy, coffee, vanilla, cassis, black cherry jam, orange peel, licorice flavours and a cardamom and tobacco leaf finish. Lots of intensity here if a bit warm. Drink now with grilled lamb or steak or age for 2-4 years. Very attractive style.Tasted: 15 November 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
