Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMocha, licorice, black berry jam, port-y nose with intense vanilla, leather, resin, cooked rhubarb notes spiked with some garrigue and slightly volatile notes. Almost identical flavours in the mouth. Smooth, round tannin entry with somewhat high acidity on the finish. Solid but with stewed fruit notes and a slightly green undercurrent. A decent start.
