Domaine du Clos Frantin Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Malconsorts 2005
Vosne-Romanée, Côtes de Nuits, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceCherry, raspberry, rootsy, floral, licorice, tobacco leaf, mineral aromas. Dry, elegant, slightly lean palate with some tight tannins and very fresh acidity. Vanilla, smoky, spicy, orange peel, rhubarb, raspberry, mineral, minty flavours. Good finesse but starting to close down and tighten on the finish with some acidity poking through.
