Coastal Region, South AfricaThe latest edition of this syrah is not unlike the previous. The nose mixes saddle leather with intense meaty spicy peppery notes. The entry is soft warm and dry with more meaty barnyard peppery leather notes with bits of black fruit and a touch of Brett with some acidity poking through the finish. More old-style and one off in nature than most New World syrah.
