Veneto, ItalyOpen gamey, spicy, peppery, tobacco nose with chocolate, prune and cherry kirsch aromas. On entry is a bit dry and tight, yet it remains full bodied with a slightly tannic palate, fresh acidity and fine concentration. Peppery, black cherry, tobacco, licorice, earthy, prune, orange peel, coffee flavours. Warm, youthful tannin finish, this needs 3-5 years to soften.
