Sicily, ItalyPlaneta has hit a home run with Cerasuolo. The first DOCG wine in Sicily is a 60/40 blend of néro d'Avola and frappato. The fruit is fabulous - red berries and strawberries - the texture smooth and mysteriously pinot noir like. The finish is long ands stylish with spice and licorice undertones.
