Jackson-Triggs Shiraz Proprietors' Reserve 2005
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe JT shiraz has enjoyed much acclaim over the years from this writer and the latest effort continues to impress. Typically it offers up big generous blackberry blueberry fruit on the nose with just a hint of briary sage underbrush. The front end is loaded with peppery, vanilla black fruit flavours streaked with mocha coffee and some elevated Oz-like acidity. Very warm, peppery finish.
