Brecciarolo Rosso Piceno 2003

Marche, ItalyRosso Piceno comes off the hillsides of Marche from within the province of Ascoli Piceno. The blend is 55/45 montepulciano/sangiovese and that sees some time in neutral French oak. The nose is aromatic with floral, spice and earth tones. On the palate it's fresh with red currant and spicy flavour and a touch of almond. A dryish, Euro-red built for the dinner table.Tasted: 21 October 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
