Vin de Pays d'Oc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThis 'shiraz' is actually syrah from the Languedoc area between the Rhône River and Carcassonne. Normally it has been quiet a feral offering but the '06 is an improvement showing less of that wild character. The guts red fruits with an earthy, spicy, licorice bent and good acidity.
