Golden Mile Sauvignon Blanc Luckhurst Family Vineyards 2006
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlmost all sauvignon with 3 per cent sémillon this sauvignon is 60 per cent stainless steel fermented at low temperatures. The remainder was barrel fermented in new French oak but spent only seven weeks in wood. The nose is a mix of weedy/stalky notes with bits of pineapple and mineral. On the palate tight mineral, citrus fruit dominates.
