Folie à Deux Ménage a Trois Red 2005

California, United StatesI've always preferred the white version of this label but the 05 red is a fine improvement specifically with less herbal notes. The palate is supple and soft with ripe, juicy black fruit and bramble berry flavours. The trio of grapes is mostly Amador zinfandel with about 30 per cent cabernet (sauvignon and franc) out of Napa.
