Cremaschi Furlotti Carmenère Reserve 2005

Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileFermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months the latest Furlotti carmenère has big smoky floral peppery nose with bits of cedar and cherry. On the palate the wine is spicy and smooth with vanilla, coffee black cherry and cedar flavours. There is some gripp-y tannin in the finish. Best with rustic grilled meat dishes off the barbecue.Tasted: 09 September 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
