Valle del Maule, Region del Valle Central, ChileMuch like the previous version the '05 has that spicy, gamey, leafy nose followed by an earthy, leafy, bitter chocolate and spicy cherry flavours. There's 11 per cent cabernet sauvignon in the blend that tends to stiffen the finish. Needs a grilled steak to tame its dry finish.
