Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesLots of cedar, cigar box, smoky, peppery, black berry, cassis, five spice aromas with an earthy, coffee streak. Rich, round, dry entry with some young, grainy tannin. Very smoky oak, vanilla, resin, cassis, black cherry, peppery, rootsy, tobacco, cedar flavours. Dry, somewhat tight finish a la Bordeaux although it's also reminiscent of a super-Tuscan red.
