Fat Bastard Chardonnay 2005

Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceThe Fat Bastard brand has settled into its role as a solid southern French label with a modern twist. The chardonnay gets a bit of barrel ferment and partial malolactic fermentation leaving a reasonably fresh white with smooth vanilla nutty notes. Clean and well made, if simple for the price. The winery says you can pair this with a variety of cheeses, seafood, poultry and cream sauce pastas.Tasted: 13 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
