Château Timberlay 2003
Bordeaux, FranceIt's hard to believe any wine with a label like Timberlay could survive in the '00s but so it does. This mostly merlot (80 per cent) blend is predictably dry and leathery with bits of coffee and spice but no discernible fruit. The finish is dry with smoky bell pepper and cedar notes. Simple Euro red best served with grilled meat.Tasted: 21 May 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.05 | 750ml | specialty listing |
