Frontera Carmenere 2006
Region del Valle Central, ChileCarmenère can be an acquired taste but once you acclimatise to the leafy black olive tobacco aromas and flavours you can usually get plenty of bang for your buck. Definitely dry and earthy but with supple tannins and some black fruit and smoky tobacco notes. A decent barbecue red.Tasted: 18 April 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $8.99 | 750ml | general listing |
