Michele Satta Piastraia 2002
Bolgheri, Tuscany, ItalyGamey, smoky, earthy, tobacco, black cherry, savoury mushroom aromas with a touch of Band-Aid and chocolate. Dry, slightly tannic entry with some grip. Smoky, cherry, cassis, meaty, licorice, tobacco, orange peel and vanilla flavours. Good fruit intensity but the tannins remain somewhat lean and rustic. Needs 2-3 years to round out. Good effort for the vintage.Tasted: 02 March 2007Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $44.00 | 750ml | speculative - Liquid Art |
