Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2003

Aloxe-Corton, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceSpicy, citrus, white floral, baked pear, nutty lees aromas. Dry, round, rich and fat but has good finesse. Buttery, spicy, nutty, baked apple, pear, melon flavours with a touch of orange and lemon on the finish. A bit coarse but good drinking now and over the next 2-3 years. Corton-Charlemagne sits on the hillside of Corton pitched in a south-easterly direction to capture the maximum exposure to the sun and generally is harvested as late as possible to guarantee maximum ripeness.Tasted: 18 March 2007Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
