Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceChassagne-Montrachet is located just to the south of Puligny-Montrachet in what is considered the last great white wine appellation of the Côte de Beaune. This premier cru Caillerets has a floral, mineral, slate, buttery, earthy, lemon, quince, spicy lees aromas. Rich, full, fat but with very good acidity. Lots of spicy, lemon, quince, baked pear, butter and nutty lees flavours. Very good finesse, long with good acidity on the finish.
