Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalPeppery, licorice, gamey, earthy, smoky, black cherry nose with flecks of tobacco, coffee and cedar. Rich, ripe, round, dry with some grainy, slightly cedar-y tannins. Smoky, licorice, cherry, black pepper, licorice root, coffee flavours. Good intensity and extract but tannins are a bit tough.
