Val de Flores 2004
Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaBig blackberry, cherry jam, smoky, savoury, five spice, orange peel, tobacco, leather nose with some vanilla pudding and cinnamon. Rich, ripe, round and young with supple velvety tannins but quite alcoholic. Intense with licorice root, white pepper, black cherry, smoky, clove, vanilla, savoury flavours with an orange peel, coffee, tobacco, roasted pepper finish. Very good fruit and finesse but also very warm (15%). Will improve with 2-5 years bottle age but drinkable now with the velvety textures.Tasted: 24 November 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $79.99 | 750ml | |
