Glaetzer Godolphin 2005

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaGodolphin is a mostly shiraz with a dose of cabernet sauvignon made from old, dry-farmed vines in Barossa's Ebenezer district. It's plenty round and rich in the mouth with meaty, black olive, black cherry, cassis aromas with big peppery, smoky, vanilla, black cherry, cola, jammy fruit flavours. Youthful dry tannins but they should dissipate. Needs 2-3 years to soften and gain complexity.Tasted: 19 November 2006Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
