Marche, ItalyItaly's consulting winemaking guru Franco Bernabei has been working at Fazi Battaglia for more than a decade trying to elevate. This is bright entry level sangiovese grown in stony soils about 1,000 feet above sea level in the Castelli di Jesi Classico zone of Marche. The nose is fragrant the palate fresh with dusty cranberry cherry fruit.
