Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainA 54/38/8 blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc Mas Elena opens with a fragrant nose of plums cloves, tobacco, black cherry and licorice. It's perfectly round and ripe with plenty of silky almost chocolate-y fruit flavours flecked with black pepper, orange peel, and vanilla cassis flavours.
